Blacksmiths cottage offers a cosy holiday base in the attractive village of Gillamoor on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and is the perfect place for walking, touring and relaxing.
The cottage has been carefully and sympathetically converted retaining all its charm and character with its original oak beam structure and superb blacksmiths forge fireplace.
All on ground floor level, Blacksmiths cottage is comfortable and welcoming at any time of the year. Sleeps two people in one double bedroom, separate bathroom with bath and electric shower and a combined kitchen, dining and living space. The kitchen is well equipped including, oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle and extensive utensils and cookware. The cosy lounge area has a television with DVD player, a stereo with CD player and a selection of books and games. Blacksmiths cottage has private parking for one vehicle. Bed linen and logs for the fireplace are provided.
Eating Out: The village inn serving good food is just a two minute stroll from the cottage and another good food inn lies within a mile of Gillamoor, in the neighbouring village of Fadmoor. The market town of Kirkbymoorside offering everyday shopping, pubs and restaurants is only 3 miles away.
