Castle View Cottage is comfortably furnished and in an excellent location just two minutes walk to a choice of specialist shops, restaurants, tea rooms and public houses. Helmsley’s location on the edge of the North York Moors National Park makes it an ideal base for visiting the coastal villages and towns of Robin Hoods Bay, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The historic City of York is also just 23 miles. Accommodation: Downstairs guests can relax in the cosy living room with its roaring gas effect fire and traditional oak beams. The lounge has ample seating and is well equipped with colour TV, DVD and a selection of DVD’s, books and games. The Kitchen has everything you would expect to find at home including an oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer/dryer and microwave as well as a kettle, toaster & a dining area. There is also a real hall & boot room. The back door leads out into the garden. Where guests will find a large cottage garden with furniture, perfect for enjoying balmy summer's evenings. The Cottage also provides off street parking for up to two cars. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with double wardrobe , chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. The second bedroom has a 2 foot 6” hideaway guest bed which can be used as a single or can be pulled out to make twin beds. This room is furnished with a double wardrobe and small bedside table. The first floor bathroom has a bath with over bath shower, wc and wash basin.
