In the quiet little village of Ingleby Cross, North Yorkshire and on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park you will discover that The Cottage is in a beautiful location amidst open countryside. An ideal romantic retreat for Two.
Once traditional farm buildings for the neighbouring 18th Century farmhouse, the buildings were sympathetically converted in 1994. The Cottage (originally the milking sheds) opens onto a courtyard and faces south to the Cleveland hills.
Hill House (originally two barns) is now the home of the resident owners who can assure you of a very warm welcome and are on hand to offer help and advice, where requested, to ensure that you have a pleasant and relaxing holiday.

North Yorkshire National Parks - 554 square miles of moorland heather right on your doorstep. Ingleby Cross is a recognised stopping point on the Coast-to-Coast Walk. There is also direct access to the Cleveland Way.
Within a very short drive of The Cottage you will find pretty villages, picturesque market towns, abbeys, castles, historic buildings, museums, coastal walks, North Yorkshire Moors, North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway and unsurpassed countryside to explore. It is also just a short drive to the beautiful Yorkshire coast.
The historic walled city of York is easily accessible and warrants a day's visit.
Ingleby Cross has its own public house serving a good range of food. In the nearby villages there are many other wonderful inns and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.
