Details: Court House is a charming semi-detached cottage with many original features in the lovely village of Cropton, an ideal base for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park and surrounding areas. The New Inn, home of the famous Cropton Brewery is within easy walking distance serving excellent food and, of course, beer! The market town of Pickering is about 4 miles away with a wide variety of shops including a supermarket, church with stunning medieval frescoes and the terminus of the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway. Board a steam train and travel through beautiful countryside to Goathland (Heatbeat country) and on into Whitby.

Cropton is surrounded by superb walking and cycling country with Cropton and Dalby forests close by and, of course, the famous moors and picturesque villages. Scarborough is a short drive away with all the usual seaside activities, whilst there is bird watching at the RSPB site at Bempton cliffs a little further. Nearby Kirkby Moorside offers a golf course open to visitors and the wonderful Ryedale Folk Museum is at Hutton le hole. Farndale, famous for its wild daffodils, Helmsley, Castle Howard , Riveaulx Abbey and the walled city of York, with its numerous attractions, are all easily accessible.
