Nadine and Malc Dale, welcome you to Five Acre View Bed and Breakfast, a traditional stone built cottage which also doubles as our family home, and blends traditional character and charm with modern everyday comforts. Located in the heart of the North York Moors, and with breathtaking views across the valley of Rosedale. Private river fishing is available.

Five Acre View is located just outside the village of Rosedale Abbey, which offers three pubs, all serving a variety of food, gift shops, tearooms and a glass works. There are also excellent walks, pony trekking, mountain bike hire and a golf course. Five Acre View B&B is also ideally located for exploring the local area including the stunning North York Moors themselves and numerous attractions and activities. Take a drive in the direction of Goathland (home of the popular television series Heartbeat), Grosmont and Whitby, and enjoy the beautiful North York Moors as you travel.

Alternatively visit Pickering the home of the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway and Beck Isle Folk Museum. Yorkshire’s heritage east coast is just a short drive away, including Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Robin Hoods Bay, or head towards Malton, Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo and Eden Camp war museum. The stunning city of York is roughly 38 miles away from Rosedale, and on route you will find the beautiful stately home of Castle Howard. At Hutton Le Hole you can visit Ryedale Folk Museum.
