Modern and spacious luxury lakeside log cabin, the most Idyllic Retreat in the Countryside, Only 8 miles from York City Centre. Sleeps 6 in 3 Bedrooms and has the best lakeside position on the whole park.

Across the front of Fountain Lake Lodge there are two sets of French doors, which can be flung open giving an open air feel to the lodge - we have placed the 6 seater dining table where you can eat in comfort and not miss a moment of the beautiful view around Goosewood Holiday Park.

The lodge is fitted with gas fired central heating and there is an electric fire in the living room, which makes for cosy nights in winter when the snow is covering the lake.We have also provided a media centre with ipod docking station. The lodge has free WiFi connectivity, so you can access the internet during your stay.

The kitchen has a gas oven and hob with extractor hood. We have also provided a microwave for your convenience. Cutlery and utensils are provided, along with crockery, plates, bowls, jugs, cups & glasses etc. A full set of pans are also provided for your use.
There is a full height fridge freezer and a dishwasher, so you can spend your valuable time relaxing, and not washing up! There is a kettle and a toaster provided too. We've tried to think of everything!

The main bedroom has a king size bed, and lots of storage space. it has a dressing table and chair, and an LCD TV. Off the main bedroom there is an en-suite bathroom with full sized bath. The second bedroom has comfortable twin single beds and loads more storage. The third bedroom has children's bunk beds which we have not shown in photos. A travel cot completes the sleeping arrangements...

It is in the perfect position, situated on the lake edge at Goosewood Holiday Park in beautiful Sutton on the Forest, just outside York. The site is very peaceful and therefore the perfect place to relax or is the ideal base to discover Yorkshire tourist attractions, towns, villages and countryside.

Our stunning Lakeside Log Cabin takes prime position within the Park, sitting right on the shore of the lake, near to the beautiful fountain, and wildlife area, approved by David Bellamy!

The park is ideal for Fishing Holidays, a relaxing retreat and is perfect for using as a base for a holiday or a short break to visit York City Centre and its many attractions

Accommodation: The open plan modern kitchen, lounge and dining area offers our guests a relaxing comfortable living space. Fountain Lake Lodge is south facing, so it gets the sun all day long.

At the front of Fountain Lake Lodge, overlooking the Fishing Lake, there is a modern, comfortable living area, where you can relax and gaze out of the french doors at the stunning view of the lake. Or you could listen to music on the ipod dock/CD player, watch one of the many digital channels, or a DVD on the LCD TV. The lodge has free WiFi connectivity, so you can access the internet during your stay.

All bed linens and towels are provided for your party, although cot bedding for infants should be brought with you.
