Grinkle Park Hotel is an outstanding 20 en-suite bed-roomed hotel nestled in the foothills between Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors, North Yorkshire. A very comfortable and special place and also an ideal for weddings, parties and general functions.
Grinkle Park has the comfort and character of a Victorian shooting lodge with excellent cuisine and cellar associated with a house of such quality. The feeling of a family home with blazing fires in the winter and a large local clientele to add to its always welcoming surroundings.
Wildlife is abundant, Spring brings swathes of daffodils huge avenues of Rhododendrons and sweet scented azaleas. The peacocks strut down sloping walks shadowed by ancient trees whilst the visitor may enjoy all this plus tennis, croquet and billiards. For the more adventurous there are longer walks on the Moors, historic market towns, or the castles and churches of Whitby and York.
Why not try salmon and trout fishing on the River Esk, or golf at the testing local courses? Theatres at Scarborough and Darlington and a multitude of other pleasures can be had by staying at Grinkle Park Hotel.
