Details: Hart Hall Bed and Breakfast is located at Glaisdale on a working dairy farm, which has been carefully developed to retain the old charm of the farm. You will arrive down a short, tree lined lane into a setting of traditional sandstone outbuildings and barns, set in beautiful peaceful surroundings steeped in character and tradition.

Glaisdale is set in the beautiful River Esk Valley in the North York Moors National Park, an area of truly outstanding beauty with open moorland, woodland and rivers right on the doorstep. It is a walker's and cyclist’s paradise, and for the less energetic there are numerous activities and attractions to visit in the surrounding region. This includes the North York Moors Steam Railway, Castle Howard, Yorkshires spectacular east coast, Heartbeat and Herriot country and numerous interesting villages, market towns and places to visit. Only 8 miles away is the historical and lively seaside town Whitby, and Staithes associated with Captain Cook plus Robinhoods Bay.

We are conveniently placed only a 5-minute walk to the village amenities, pubs, shop/post office, butchers and railway station.

Coast to Coast Walk
We are also located directly on the route of Wainright’s popular Coast to Coast long distance footpath and hence our B&B makes an ideal stopover for a night or two during your walk. Walkers’ are always made very welcome on our farm.

Accommodation
The accommodation is contained in a 17th century cottage joined to the main farmhouse, where guests can retain their own privacy and come and go undisturbed.

The cottage contains two bedrooms, one twin and one double, with private shower, wc upstairs and breakfast/living room with TV and tea/coffee facilities downstairs. Either an extra bed or cot can be made available for a child in the double room, another single bed is available downstairs.

The rooms can be booked separately as a double or twin, or alternatively the whole cottage is available to a family or group of up to five adults.

Dining
A full Yorkshire Breakfast is served using the finest local ingredients; alternatively a continental style selection is available. Special dietary needs catered for by arrangement.

We are a non smoking establishment and regret pets are not permitted in the house.
