Details: Keeper's Cottage is located in Gillamoor, overlooking the village green, and offers comfortable self catering accommodation. The cottage is a former stable and barn (built 1766) conversion, which retains many original features, and is set in extensive grounds. Keeper’s cottage is the perfect location for guests who prefer some privacy & seclusion. There is off road car parking for 2 cars and the 'Royal Oak' country pub & restaurant is just 50 yards away.

The village of Gillamoor is an unspoiled North Yorkshire rural village. It is quite usual to see sheep being herded thro’ the village and local farmers attending to their daily tasks. Guests can explore the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, including Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. The City of York is within an hour’s drive. In the spring, Farndale's display of daffodils and The Moors' cover of purple heather are a spectacular sight. The area offers some of the best walking and cycling country in the UK.

Accommodation: Keepers Cottage offers full central heating in all rooms – lounge & dining room (South facing sunny aspect, with door to conservatory), double bedroom, twin bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and central reception hallway. All rooms are on the ground floor with no steps or floor level changes inside the cottage. All bed linen is provided.

The bathroom consists of a bath with electric shower over, hand wash basin, WC, shaver point, tiled bath surround and laminate floor.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with electric hob, full size oven & grill, automatic washing machine, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge & separate freezer.

Prices & Availability: 2008 season - £190 to £370 per full week, Discount of £10 per booking for a party of 2 people sharing 1 bedroom.
