This cottage began life as a stone-built hayloft in the 18th Century. It has been lovingly restored and converted to provide charming, contemporary accommodation. Open plan cottage for 2 people in a converted 18th Century hay loft - perfect for a romantic break.
The living space is arranged over one level and in an open-plan style. For the winter months, the owners have installed storage heaters and a wood-burning stove, which provides a romantic ambience as well making the property cosy and snug. For the summer evenings and a spot of outdoor dining there is a small patio-garden, complete with garden furniture. There is off-road parking for one car, and the local pub is only two minutes walk away.
Accommodation: All first floor. One double bedroom. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Storage heaters with additional heating from woodburning stove in living area. Electric hob, dual oven (microwave, grill and oven), fridge, combi colour TV, video and DVD, CD player/radio etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Small patio with garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 2 mins walk. Note: Property not suitable for babies or children.
