Location: The charming and tiny village of Levisham lies six miles to the north of Pickering and consists of delightful stone cottages, farms and a village green. There is a church and pub in the village, whilst there are shops 6 miles away in Pickering. The Hole of Horcum is a section of the valley of the Levisham Beck, which flows along a steep, wooded valley and culminates in a small waterfall and water mill at its foot. There is a labyrinth of footpaths and trails through some breathtaking scenery and the station at Levisham is a stopping point for the North York Steam Railway.
