Lythe Caravan & Camping Park is set at the village of Lythe close to Whitby on the glorious North Yorkshire coast. Camping Pods, touring caravan and motor-home fields and camping fields are available with a modern shower and toilet block.
The caravan and camping park itself is based in the idyllic North Yorkshire Moors National Park and situated in the picturesque village of Lythe; with views over the North Sea & miles of unspoilt countryside to walk through this park really is something to see!
Whilst visiting why not call down the track to The Stiddy - Public house, a refurbished village pub serving hot & cold food and a good range of drinks including local cask ales - all year round.
Situated 3.5 miles North of Whitby on the A174. Large pitch site & situated 100 metres behind The Stiddy Public House. The Entrance to the site is situated next door to the Fire Station.
Whitby and the surrounding area is brimming with things to see and do. it is home to the world famous Whitby Abbey which was disestablished during the Dissolution of the Monasteries under the command of King Henry VIII, it was Whitby Abbey which gave Bram Stoker the inspiration to write Dracula. Apart from Dracula Whitby was also where the famous explorer Captain James Cook lodged as an apprentice & eventually trained as a seaman, leading to his epic voyages of discovery, with its rugged coastline and beautiful unspoilt countryside Whitby is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend or perhaps a longer stay.
