Details: Plum Tree Cottages are located at the village Danby in the heart of the North York Moors, and only a short drive from both 'Heartbeat' and 'Herriot' country and Yorkshires heritage east coast, including pretty and lively fishing port of Whitby. The location is ideal for those looking to explore the beautiful moors, or alternatively just wanting tranquil surroundings for a peaceful relaxing holiday or short break. The Cottages
There are two cottages (see photos left); both tastefully converted from old buildings in the yard of Plum Tree House, and dating back to around 1685. Both of the cottages have: one bedroom sleeping 2 persons have been decorated and furnished to a high standard, and feature exposed beams, and a Multi-fuel Stove. The bedrooms look out over the fields towards the village of Danby beyond. Each cottage has its own outside decking area complete with garden furniture and overlooking the orchard. Of street car parking space is available. We regret pets are not accepted.

Threshing Shed
The Threshing Shed has a spacious lounge/diner kitchen on the ground floor, with a bedroom and shower room on the first floor. The bedroom has fitted cupboards and sloping ceilings.

Cart Shed
The Cart Shed has a spacious lounge/diner kitchen with one step down into the bedroom and shower room. The Cart Shed also features an exposed stone wall

Other Details
There are mountain bikes available for guests use and each cottage is equipped with a picnic rucksack for days out.

Turn your stay with us into a spa break with reflexology; reiki and aromatherapy treatments available on site from well qualified and experienced therapists.

If you don't wish to cook it's only ten minutes walk across the fields to the village pub or alternatively Nick from the village will come and cook for you or fill your freezer with delicious home cooked ready meals.
