The three sunny cottages and three bed and breakfast cottage rooms nestling amongst 42 acres of beautiful open countryside are ideal for a relaxing break with only the sounds of the countryside to disturb your peace. Situated only 6 miles north of the bustling market own of Pickering and in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, Rawcliffe House Farm is the perfect place to explore the gems of the area. Holiday Cottages: The original stone pantiled barn has been converted to the highest specification creating three exceptionally spacious holiday cottages furnished and fitted to a high standard, situated in some of North Yorkshire 's most scenic countryside. There are views from all the cottages over the surrounding countryside of old pasture with rolling, well-wooded hills beyond. There are plenty of grassed areas for children to play, including a small formal play area. We have pet pygmy goats, ducks and hens on the farm. The four holiday cottages are arranged around a south facing courtyard. Many of the original features have been preserved. All cottages are fully centrally heated and doubled glazed, enabling all year round use. They all have fully fitted kitchens, television, VCR, DVD and CD player. We also have a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryer. All beds are made ready for arrival. Towels, T-towels, electricity, heating, etc all included in the price. Giltspur Cottage - sleeps up to 7 people plus a cot. Pye Corner Cottage - sleeps 5 people plus a cot. Cloth Fair Cottage - sleeps 2 people. (Wheelchair Friendly – See Below). Hindburn Cottage - sleeps 2 people. Bed and Breakfast: We have three comfortable ground floor en-suite bed and breakfast (B&B) guest rooms at Rawcliffe House, one king size, one double and one superking/twin size. The rooms are separate to the farmhouse, are on the ground floor and situated around our south facing courtyard. Spacious rooms with old oak beams and loads of character are a strong feature at Rawcliffe House. The modern en-suite bathrooms are full sized bathroom with a shower over bath. All our bed & breakfast rooms are fully centrally heated and double glazed, enabling all year round use. We also have a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryer. All rooms have two armchairs, television and hospitality tray . Every morning we serve a delicious full Yorkshire breakfast using only the finest local produce to set you up for a day walking on the moors or exploring the Yorkshire coastline. Wheelchair Access: Cloth Fair Cottage is a superior wheelchair accessible, one bedroom self-catering holiday cottage, sleeping two persons. The cottage is bright and spacious with windows on three sides and has been specifically designed for our less mobile visitors to enjoy a relaxing and independent holiday; everything is on the same level, there are no steps. Access to the cottage is by a purpose built ramped pathway with support railings direct from the adjacent car park.
