Details: The award winning Postgate Inn is an exquisite little pub built in 1860 and perfectly located in the tranquil village of Egton Bridge near Whitby. In 2006 the Postgate Inn was winner of the Punch Tavern North Regional Best Food Award. The Inn also regularly features in the popular TV series "Heartbeat" under its stage name "The Black Dog".

With 3 en-suite bedrooms, an intimate candlelit restaurant and an atmospheric lively bar, the inn extends a warm welcome and sociable atmosphere, to both locals and tourists alike.

Sitting in beautiful surroundings alongside the River Esk at the bottom of a lush, wooded valley within the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Postgate is just three miles off the main A171 Guisborough to Whitby road & close to a small train station which is part of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. We are also within easy access of Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and Pickering and an ideal stop over for walkers just 150 yards from the coast to coast route.

Accommodation: The Postgate Inn has, in recent years, been refurbished to a high standard whilst maintaining many original features. Guests can choose from 3 pleasantly appointed rooms. All the rooms are en suite & consist of the following:

• Two double en-suites (One converts to Twin beds on request)
• One family room with en-suite, sleeps 4 (Two twin beds & one bunk bed)

All rooms are comfortable, a good size, light and airy with views of the surrounding countryside, each has a TV & Tea/Coffee making facilities. A traditional Yorkshire breakfast is served in the restaurant each morning to ensure the right start to your day. Well behaved pets are welcome.

Tariff:

• Single Occupancy - £45.00 per night
• Ensuite Double Room - from £69.00 per night
• Ensuite Family Room (Sleeps 4) - from £75.00 per night.

All prices include VAT and a full Yorkshire breakfast.
