Both of these popular towns can be reached either by bus, which stops conveniently right on our doorstep, or by a short car journey. The picturesque coastal fishing villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay are also close by and well worth a visit. In the village itself is a petrol station /convenience store and the post office is just a brief walk away. Our location on the fringe of the North York Moors National Park is an ideal base from which to explore the National Park including Heartbeat Country and the spectacular coastline. Other local attractions include; The North Yorkshire Steam Railway, Castle Howard and Rosedale Abbey. Click this link for a selection of East Coast information. Accommodation: Accommodation consists of 3 warm, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, including 1 twin, 1 family room & 1 double. All are complete with en-suite facilities, modern LCD colour televisions, DVD player, CD player and tea and coffee making facilities. A small fridge is available on the landing containing fresh milk for guests use. All rooms have spectacular views of the beautiful rolling countryside. Also available for your guests use is a comfortable lounge, with a selection of local information and colour television, and makes an ideal place to relax after your day out exploring this truly wonderful area. An iron and ironing board, extra pillows and blankets are available. All of the rooms are equipped with hair dryers and towels are provided. We are a non smoking establishment. Dining: Breakfast is served 8.30am to 9:00am (Monday to Friday) and 9.00am to 9.30am (Saturday & Sunday) in our ground floor dining area, where you will be greeted by a blazing log fire on colder mornings. You will be served a hearty full English breakfast, available with free range eggs which are collected daily from our own hens. Alternatively you enjoy a breakfast from our continental selection. Special dietary requirements and packed lunches are catered for with suitable advance notice. For your evening meal there is a large selection of restaurants, bars, pubs & bistros to choose from in both Saltburn and Whitby. Tariff: Accommodation in either our twin or double bedded room with ensuite facilities is from £36 per person per night and includes Full English Breakfast. Single Occupancy is £51.00 per night including Full English Breakfast. Family room accommodation is from £36.00 per adult per night, 50% discount for children under 15 , sharing with two adults. We now accept credit/debit cards.
