This unusual fisherman's cottage is spread over four floors and is tucked away in a quiet corner of Whitby. The property has been painstakingly restored with many of the original features retained, including beams and a fireplace.
The spacious kitchen is situated in the basement and is very well equipped. With an elegant dining area and a sofa bed, the welcoming sitting room has a feature fireplace with a cosy living flame fire. The bathroom is a delight with an original cast iron fireplace and a separate shower. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer a peaceful haven at the end of a busy day. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the town’s amenities and the sandy beaches, making this property an ideal location for a holiday.
Accommodation: Over four floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with TV/CD/DVD, 1 x 2nd floor twin (zip-link, can be a king size double on request). Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin, WC & original cast iron fireplace. Lower ground floor fitted kitchen with dining area & sofa bed. Ground floor sitting room with living-flame gas fire & brick fireplace. Note: Characteristic winding staircases lead to all floors.
Full gas central heating with combi boiler, living-flame gas fire in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, 2 x colour TVs (both with basic Sky), DVD. Fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Public car park 300 yards. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pubs & shops 1 minute walk.
