Wildlife & Nature

The North York Moors and Coast is the perfect location to enjoy wildlife and get back to nature. With forested areas, hills, and a stunning coastal area, a host of natural environments can be enjoyed here. The wildlife is thriving and rare species of birds, butterflies, fish and mammals can all be found in the region. It's an assuring thought to know that all the local wildlife and nature is protected here as the North York Moors are a National Park and cannot be developed in any major way. Some of the rarest animals residing in the area are lapwings, adders, otters and grass snakes so get searching, you may be lucky! The bird colony at Bempton cliffs just has to be seen.
