Yorkshire Craft Fair Northallerton, The Golden Lion, March 24th 2012 - is the town's premier hotel. Originally an old coaching inn, it occupies a dominant position on the Town's High Street,and the fairs are held in the recently refurbished banqueting suite. The Town Hall occupies the dominant position on the High Street of this busy North Yorkshire tourist/market town. The fairs are held on Wednesday's when the famous market is held which draws large numbers of visitors to the town from a wide area of Yorkshire, Cleveland and Durham.
