Autumn Whitby Angling Festival 5 -20 September 2015 - Each year the local charter skippers hold a spring, summer and autumn Whitby angling festival. Fishing takes place over 14 days from boats registered with The Whitby Charter Skippers Association. Prizes for the biggest fish over the 14 days, and numerous daily prizes.

Kildale Agricultural & Horticultural Show Saturday 5 September 2015 - Kildale show is a family orienated, traditional agricultural and horticultural show which is held on the first Saturday in Sptember in the picturesque village of Kildale within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Family fun with something for everybody - all welcome.

Stokesley Show 19 September 2015 - Display of exhibits and trades relative to equestrian, agriculture and the community of the Stokesley area. A great family day out with something for everyone. Local produce, local farmers and local agriculture all found at Stokesley Show. The North's largest one day agricultural show.

Scarborough Jazz Festival 25 - 27 September 2015 - The Festival is now rated as being in the top five Jazz Festival's in country by the Guardian festival guide and is now firmly on the national if not international stage. Audiences and performers have acknowledged the consistently high quality of the artists and find the variety and range of the programme refreshing. And, of course, the physical setting gives the festival an added appeal. Scarborough Jazz Festival always tries to put on a fresh and balanced programme and unashamedly relies heavily on the plethora of outstanding British musicians - the legendary Georgie Fame, Clare Teal, international Saxophonist Courtney Pine, the world's greatest jazz guitarist, Martin Taylor, the lyrical Jacqui Dankworth and Kyle Eastwood are just some of the highlights from previous years.
