Situated on the edge of North Yorkshire the busy market town of Guisborough is perfectly located to take advantage of the wider range of attractions and locations around Yorkshire.

Shopping is fairly varied in Guisborough with a few known high street chains but the highlighht is the traditional market held every Thursday and Saturday you should be sure to try and pick up some local produce. If you want a more eccletic mix of independent shops then the historic cities of York and Durham are easily reachable.

As for attractions you needn't venture far as the striking Gisbourough Priory is well worth a visit. These beautiful Augustian ruins are open for the majority of the year and offer the perfect backdrop for a picnic....
