Bridlington is a thriving holiday resort with lots of activities and entertainment for all the family. It is also a busy fishing port with a long tradition and takes a pride in its fishing history. The main town has long sandy beaches which roll out to the left and right of the imposing, ancient harbour. The beaches are recognised for being clean and safe and feature regularly in the Good Beach Guide There are thoughtfully designed promenades, which provide wonderful viewing points with seating areas and spaces sheltered from the wind to relax and breathe the fresh sea air.

There are many places to eat be it a quaint cottage restaurant or a stylish modern air conditioned bistro. The town bristles with activity and offers an insight into life in a seaside town. Bridlington also offers a good base to explore the North Yorkshire moors with the market towns of Pickering and Malton in striking distance.

If you enjoy walking you can head in land along the rolling chalk ridge towards York or head south down the coastline towards Spurn Head. What ever you enjoy Bridlington has plenty of variety has a charm and captivation that sees visitors return year upon year.
