Magnificent Duncombe Park is set amongst beautiful parkland and surrounded by elegantly manicured gardens. The gardens are open to the public and are a lovely way to spend a day relaxing with the family. There is a childrens playground and picnic area.

Duncombe Park which is set against a magnificent landscape close to the North Yorkshire Moors is one of Yorkshire’s most amazing historic houses, here you’ll find miles of parkland, splendid gardens, elegant rooms, fine food and drink and plenty of shopping.

Duncombe Park is home to the Duncombe family. The house will be closed to the public from 2011, but the spectacular gardens remain open to visitors, as does the surrounding parkland, a beautiful and historic landscape on the edge of the picturesque market town of Helmsley, gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

You are welcome to enjoy a walk around the garden or why not just sit, relax and have a picnic. There is also a small adventure playground suitable for young children and families.

Duncombe Park is a grand day out for all the family.
