Egton Bridge is situated to the south of Egton at the bottom of the Esk valley close to the Middlesbrough to Whitby main line railway and the River Esk.

It is a peaceful and picturesque village surrounded by woodlands in the heart of the Valley set on the banks of the River Esk.

There is a wide selection of country walks to choose from gentle strolls to more challenging hikes.

The main feature of Egton Bridge is its name sake, the historic and eye catching bridge is set in traditional farm land and causes people to come back and back to see it time after time.

The stone bridge the was washed away by floods in the 1930s and it was rebuilt in 1992 in the original style. There is also a lovely Church which is well worth visiting, followed by a visit to the village pub!.
