Harrogate Golf club offers a good but fair 18 hole parkland golf course, where a warm and friendly welcome awaits for all visitors. Brilliant for a golf day out and non golfers in your party can an enjoy the delights of Harrogate which is very close by.

Established in 1892 the Club is the oldest in Harrogate. It has a long history and is very well respected throughout the country having hosted National Championships and regularly staging County events.

It has been named as a 'Top 100 Hidden Gem' in the British Isles by Golf Monthly magazine.
The Club is proud to be a member of the Mackenzie Society, and Dr Alister MacKenzie's work back in the early 1900's is visually present in the many mounds and hollows around the course as well as the 17th green.

Our colonial style Clubhouse and mature parkland course provide a beautiful setting for regular golf as a member, visitor or a corporate day out.

All visitors can be assured of a warm welcome, excellent facilities and an enjoyable round of golf. 

The Course:

Located only 2 miles from the centre of the famous spa town, Harrogate Golf Club is a mature parkland course in a picturesque setting and benefits from spectacular floral displays in the Spring.

The current course measures a little less than 6250 yards and is on fairly flat terrain. It is widely regarded as a fair test of golf, requiring accuracy rather than distance off the tee. Its Mackenzie style greens and tree-lined fairways provide an enjoyable challenge for all handicaps. The course is invariably presented in first class condition and many visiting parties come back year after year.
