Ryedale Tourist information

Details: Hutton-Le-Hole is one of North Yorkshire’s very popular and picturesque villages. You can relax by the river for a picnic on the lush grass, or visit the Rydale Folk Museum which offers an insight into how people lived and worked in the village and surrounding region. The museum includes historic buildings depicting the lives of ordinary folk from the earliest times to the present day. It’s very much a ‘hands-on’ museum, and visitors get the opportunity to learn some of the traditions of the past.

One of the real plusses of any holiday in the North Yorkshire Moors, particularly a walking holiday, is the beautiful and quaint villages with homely pubs serving quality local food and drink. Hutton-Le-Hole is that perfect place, where you can rest your legs and retreat from the stresses of everyday life.

There is a good selection of local accommodation, and numerous caravan and camping sites are located close to Hutton-Le-Hole.

The Studio of Artist Daisy Barnes is based at Hutton Le Hole featuring landscapes, seascapes and flowers, watercolours and pastels inspired by the scenery of the North York Moors, Valleys and coast.
