The National Park Centre


In this small village there is a village store selling a variety of food and a selection of cold drinks and a bakery where home baked goods, cakes, sandwiches and snacks are available. The historic village pub is actually an 18th Century Inn which overlooks the village green, it serves delicious local produce and a variety of cask conditioned real ales .The friendly oak beamed bars have open fires and a warm cosy atmosphere. There is a tea room in the visitor centre where light meals and snacks are available all day, and a gift shop which sells delicious confectionery gifts.
